On November 25, 2024, the Galle Municipal Council buzzed with excitement as the students of Sussex College Galle showcased their talents at the much-anticipated annual concert, ๐„๐ฑ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฏ๐š๐ ๐š๐ง๐ณ๐š ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the students, the academic and non-academic staff, the Aesthetic Department, and the Management.
The concert featured a vibrant mix of performances, including captivating dances, soulful singing, and professional-grade announcing. Each act highlighted the incredible creativity and talent of Sussex College students, who had spent countless hours perfecting their performances.
As the curtains fell, the young stars took a well-deserved bow to thunderous applause from the delighted audience. ๐„๐ฑ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฏ๐š๐ ๐š๐ง๐ณ๐š ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ stood as a testament to the power of the arts to inspire, uplift, and unite communities, leaving everyone in attendance deeply moved.
The event was graced by prominent figures, including Ms. Thilini Kumari Shehara, Ms. International 2024, and Miss Tourism World 2022, who is also a university lecturer and a senior manager. Joining her were Mr. K.A. Sunil Jayatissa, the visionary Founder Chairman of Sussex College Network; Ms. Nadeeka Illeyperuma, Head of Education, Management, and Monitoring; and Mr. C.K. Malawiarachchi, Principal of Sussex College Matara.
