Under the Chairman, Mr. K.A. Sunil Jayatissa, CEO and the Founder of the Sussex College Network’s concept of appreciating the members of the Sussex Family who contributed to develop the college network, the Head Office organized an annual event in the name of ‘Sussex Annual Awards for Business Excellence 2023/24’ held at Mount Lavinia Hotel on 2nd of November 2024 in a grand scale.
This was held in order to celebrate the culmination of another extraordinary year – a testament to the shared vision, relentless effort, and collective strength and to recognize and honour the colleges who have brightened the path of Sussex College journey with their unparalleled contribution.
All the principals, deputy principals, vice principals, assistant principals, admin and accountant officers and the marketing officers of the Sussex College Network, and also the staff members at the head office gathered enthusiastically at the Empire Ballroom of Mount Lavinia Hotel to participate in the ceremony.
Mrs. Nadeeka Ilayperuma, the Head of Academic Management welcomed the gathering and revisited the milestones of the past 20 years of the Sussex College Network Journey.
The special key note speech on the business model and how to run a business effectively was delivered by Mr. K. A. Sunil Jayatissa, the Chairman, CEO and the Founder of the Sussex College Network which inspired and encouraged the audience to contribute more towards the organization.
This organization stands tall due to the tireless efforts of each and every one who has been a part of the network. Thus, the network level and the category level awards were distributed among the colleges who have contributed significantly to our cause, the standout performers, the exemplars, and the sources of inspiration – the ones who went beyond their ordinary roles and soared into the realms of the extraordinary. We are delighted to acknowledge all of them.
